I do not accept insurance, although I can offer superbills that you can provide to your insurance company who may reimburse for out-of-network costs. Please check with your relevant insurance company.
Payment of the full fee is due at the time of your therapy appointment, and the credit/HSA/FSA card on file will be charged unless you notify me of another form of payment. Please contact me for more information.
Clients who do not show for an appointment or cancel less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment will be charged the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers must give clients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
Heather Waldvogel Counseling states the cost per session in the disclosure and policies statement you will receive, review, and sign before beginning working together.
Heather Waldvogel Counseling will provide a separate Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of a determined number of sessions, should you wish it.
If you wish to receive such a Good Faith Estimate, please ask Heather to give it to you in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
